De La Rue has joined forces with the Department for International Trade to launch the Designing Our Future campaign, a dynamic business event that showcases British innovations and thought leadership in technology, policy and design.
The event will spotlight the best of British business and their work solving society's shared challenges including healthy aging and sustainable urban transit solutions. De La Rue will be highlighting the work they do to tackle illicit trade, facilitate both the mobility of people and goods globally and ensure that all members of society can access cash and banking.
The three-day event, to be held in New York City from April 2-4, will bring together more than 100 thought leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs and decision-makers across key industries ranging from technology and mobility to sustainability in the fashion industry. They will discuss the challenges facing our economies and explore innovations and ideas that will Design Our Future in a series of workshops and panel sessions.
De La Rue will be co-hosting Fintech Insider: Live, a podcast with 11:FS. De La Rue’s Chief Marketing Officer Robin Mackenzie will be joined by Dr. Natalie Ceeney of Innovate Finance, Anne Boden, CEO of Starling Bank, Andrew Boyajian, Head of North American Banking, Transferwise and Sam Maule, Managing Director of 11:FS. The live podcast recording will showcase UK fintech and discuss the Future of Money in the UK, US and around the world. Experts from De La Rue will also hold a workshop about tackling illicit trade and how companies can protect their brand against counterfeiters – with counterfeit and pirated goods now representing 3.3% of global trade this is a huge challenge for international business.
