The Bangladesh Bank has launched commemorative banknotes of the 100 Taka and 200 Taka denominations in celebration of the Birth Centenary of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who is often known as Father of the Nation. These beautifully designed banknotes contain visually spectacular and secure next-generation security threads: Kinetic StarChrome® and Ignite,® both designed and produced by De La Rue.
