Central Bank of São Tomé e Príncipe issues currency update

The new 5, 10 and 200 Dobra banknotes enter circulation on the 26th August 2021. These notes incorporate modern designs, new motifs, and new security features. The new paper notes will co-circulate with the existing notes.

The new notes were designed and printed by De La Rue with the 5 and 10 denominations featuring GEMINI™ whilst the 200 featuring Enhanced GEMINI™ with Microtext and a PUREIMAGE™ thread.
