Being part of the site leadership team the HSSE and Resilience Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and management for members of propriety and contracted staff for the operational running of security, HSE, audit, risk, BCP and incident management functions for the manufacturing, storage and shipping of currency, product authentication and traceability and identity products, in a high risk and challenging environment. Play an active part in the wider Malta team to build a stronger organisation with HSSE and Resilience at its core through effective liaison and leadership with multiple stakeholders.

H/She will be responsible to ensure that HSE, security and BCP measures at Malta are implemented and operated allowing De La Rue Malta to provide a safe and secure environment and quickly adapt to disruptions while maintaining continuous business operations and safeguarding people, assets and overall brand equity. To contribute to the management of the site as a member of the site Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

The selected candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in the identification, mitigation and management of risk, incident management, safety and security

  • Be educated to Level 6 in Security and Risk Management or equivalent
  • Preferably posses a NEBOSH Certification
  • Be experience in Business Continuity Management. Qualified to either ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute 9CBCI), or equivalent
  • ISO Lead Auditor (preferred)
  • Have experience in Shipping/Logistical planning and management capability (Known Consignor or local customers arrangements)
  • Be Computer Literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) system
