Provide support and upkeep of current and future HR systems, processes and procedures. Develop and sustain the HR systems and tools that will act as enablers towards achieving Opex level 3 and beyond in line with the site strategy. Assist in the daily running of the HR department. Act as a point of reference for the HR department and provide first level support to colleagues on HR matters.


 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the implementation, upkeep and support of all current and future HR systems.

  • Develop and sustain the HR systems and tools that will act as enablers towards achieving Opex level 3 and beyond in line with the site strategy.

  • Assist in the daily running of the HR department.

  • Act as a point of reference for the HR department on day-to-day issues and provide first level support to colleagues as needed and as directed by the Lead HR Business Partner.

  • Oversee and successfully implement the roll out plans and actions required for organisation development, performance and absence management programmes amongst others.

  • Facilitate the on-boarding process.

  • Assist the Lead HR Business Partner and Business Partners with the computation of weekly, monthly and yearly reports as needed.

  • Assist the Lead HR Business Partner in the day-to-day running of the HR office.

  • Upkeep of online and physical databases.

  • Embraces the principles of Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance and the need for Continuous Improvement.

  • Support the behaviour of working as One De La Rue, sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere of business.

  • Ensure full participation in the performance development review (PDR) process and maintain an up to date record of all training and development activities/programs.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least have MVQ level 5 /Diploma level standard of education or higher.

  • Conversant with MS Office applications.

  • Language proficiency in English and Maltese.

  • Be well versed with Malta employment law.

  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team and instils a ‘can-do’ attitude.

 

Be open to the introduction of new systems and methodologies and identify ways of how these can be used to improve the quality and the service level provided by the HR department to both internal and external customers.
