Key responsibilities:

  • Calculation, analysis and reporting on labour related variances.
  • Calculation, analysis and reporting on departmental operating variances.
  • Calculation, analysis and reporting on all relevant costs.
  • Prepares cash flow forecasts.
  • Supports the profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow preparation.
  • Ensure accuracy of Nominal Ledger and produce reconciliation of major account balances
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Support accountants in month end reporting, budget preparation, provision of information and ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain the asset registers and reports on stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with Finance guidelines and internal controls.
  • To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement.
  • To always act and behave in a way compliant with all De La Rue company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Mimimum level 2 in ACCA or equivalent.
  • Some experience in management accounting.
