Demand Planning Manager (IDs and PA&T)

The role is for planning and coordinating of all ID and PA&T orders and projects in Delivery from enquiry through to delivery in line with customer contract and StageGate process. The role will have leadership responsibility for the team of ID and PA&T planners and in addition will also be responsible for managing Microsoft planning and reporting against SLA's. The role will work extremely close with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the O2C process and have daily contact with the relevant factories.     

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Total accountability for planning and of all ID and PA&T projects

  • Successfully lead and manage the team of planners, including a matrix and virtual team structures at times
  • Successfully manage the the relevant inter-dependencies and interfaces between functional areas of the project, including software development within CTO
  • Act as a Delivery representative on the ID and PA&T Product Boards
  • Effectively manage the escalations and communication with all key stakeholders and forums including: WORM, A&E and the Product Boards

  • Act as the point of escalation for Project Managers and ensure timely resolution of any issues

  • Be the champion for the StageGate process and drive process improvement
  • Work with Finance to implement robust finance capture, tracking and reporting
  • Review and measure the performance of all projects in line with the defined reporting standards
  • Identify, assess and manage delivery risks and create mitigation plans as required
  • Liaise regularly with finance, sales and other parties to communicate the programme and highlight risks
  • To support the behaviour of working as One De La Rue, sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues outside of own sphere of business
  • To ensure full participation in the performance development review (PDR)process and maintain an up-to-date record of all training and development activities / programs

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong team leadership and management including across virtual and matrix management structures
  • Experience of planning and managing customer requirements from design to delivery
  • Good understanding of ID & PA&T products and product lifecycle
  • Strong influencing skills and desire to overcome obstacles to achieve successful delivery
  • Pro-active, highly positive, flexible, focused and creative
  • Ability to influence, work closely with other divisions/departments and build strong relationships
  • Commercially astute, good understanding of financial planning and management
  • Able to manage conflict internally and externally
  • Strong communication skill both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels
  • Ability to influence customers and internal stakeholder to engage and deliver change
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions and procedures to risks and issues during the implementation of the projects
  • Language skills and advantage
  • Internal travel may be required in this role
