Key responsibilities:

  • Collects data electronically and from other sources

  • Produces documents from standard template for authorisation
  • Uses bespoke software to support the department
  • Transfers information and data and documents between departments and externally 
  • Ensures communication from the job holder and the function is up to date and relevant using the appropriate medium. Email, notice boards, spreadsheets and face to face
  • Record keeping and filing of documents to ensure security and easy retrieval 
  • Contributes to monthly reports
  • Raises requisitions and assists department to procure/despatch goods and materials
  • Prepares mail
  • Photocopying and binding 
  • Records and monitors leave and allowances
  • Mans telephones
  • Monitors attendance 
  • To understand the principles and comply with practices of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Continuous Improvement
  • To always act and behave in a way in a way compliant with all De La Rue company guidelines and policies, espically those relating to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • O level in English, Maltese and Maths
  • ECDL
  • Office experience preferred
