Corporate governance refers to the set of systems, principles, controls and processes by which a company is governed. They define how the company is managed so it can achieve its goals and objectives. De La Rue’s corporate governance procedures are approved by the Board and cover matters reserved for the Board, the terms of reference of various committees and define the roles of the Chairman and Executive and Non-executive Directors. De La Rue is firmly committed to complying with the highest standards of corporate governance and its policies are regularly reviewed and amended to reflect changes in legislation and best practice.
During the year to 31 March 2018, the Company complied fully with the requirements of the UK Corporate Governance Code.
