DON'T GO NAKED...
De La Rue puts brand control back in the hands of brand owners

De La Rue, strategic advisors on global brand protection and the world's largest security printers, will unveil its most radical and wide-ranging portfolio to date under the umbrella title Don't Go Naked, at the NEC's Pakex exhibition from 2-6 April. Featuring four technology areas - paper, threads, print and tear tapes - the De La Rue showcase will focus on bespoke packaging solutions to protect businesses against counterfeiting or diversion.

Product development, tailored to the needs of specific industry sectors - perfumery, pharmaceutical, luxury goods, entertainment, drinks, tobacco and apparel - addresses the following security issues:

  • covert protection, integrated into packaging materials without damaging the aesthetic
  • visual enhancement, product interaction and personalisation devices to add brand value
  • new capability for product authentication and consumer confidence
  • strategies for supply chain integrity, from risk audits to product tracking to online authentication

Turning risk into opportunity is a key message for brand owners. Peta Dayus, Marketing Manager for De La Rue Security Products, says: "Protection is not just defensive, it's about taking control and making security part of your brand strategy to achieve competitive edge."

Don't Go Naked reflects De La Rue's strategy of working with innovative brand leaders to secure their business globally - from inception through manufacture to point of purchase.

De La Rue Holographics will also be exhibiting at Pakex, stand P1644.
