The philosophy of encouraging everyone at De La Rue to help devise ways in which we can do the things we do even better is absolutely crucial to our future.
Our Contribution is a company wide programme run via a series of project teams across the business to look into the areas of manufacturing excellence, procurement, inventory, pricing, digitisation and service.
Undoubtedly, at some point, almost everyone at De La Rue will come into contact with Our Contribution - as the programme is also about making sure that we empower everyone to channel their efforts in service of these activities and help remove barriers. Each and every individual can bring about the removal of these barriers by openly and vociferously challenging anything being done which is not in service of improving customer satisfaction, our profitability, our cash flow or our reputation. Above all we will forge a sense of collective responsibility for our business and a joint understanding which underpins all our efforts to find new and better ways of doing business.
Spotlight Awards form an integral part in recognising these efforts and events have been held in Barcelona, Interlaken, Monte Carlo and Malta . The concept is simple; this is where we showcase and celebrate the best examples of projects and ideas, which have supported the Our Contribution initiative throughout the year . It is here that we focus everyone at De La Rue on what is possible in this organisation and reward the best of the best who have helped us achieve success.
